The day began at the couple's own home, a beautiful refuge where they dream of starting their family.

The mood was relaxed and oh-so-happy.

Beautiful, classic styling for the bride.

The gentlemen prepared in the basement, everyone being careful to help the bride and groom stay out of each other's eyeshot.

Chrissy and Chris took a moment to open a thoughtful letter and a gift from each other, respectively.

Note the sparkle of a tear gracing her cheek.

All the hair and makeup and details in order, off to the church they went!

We arrived at the beautiful St Peters Catholic Church with just enough time for Chrissy to slip into her dress.

The ceremony was reverent and beautiful, and there were few dry eyes!

 Husband and wife!

We hopped a couple of blocks away down to Main Street to grab a few photos before leaving for the reception.

 Beautiful ladies!

Dapper gentlemen.

 They make a stunning couple!

Just as they were getting on the bus to leave, the sky started to sprinkle. I knew we had to make the most of the moment. Rain, to me, is just so romantic.

We arrived at the reception venue next. The rain had stopped, and I was excited to recreate this cute shot we captured for their engagement session, now as husband and wife.

We took a little time and wandered the grounds a bit, capturing more bridal party and bride and groom images.

Then it was on to the reception! I love, love the beautiful setting at Cedar Lake and the way Chrissy dressed it up!

 Let the party begin!

The first dances were the sweetest.

One of the super-amazing-awesome perks of having a reception at Cedar Lake Cellars is your own fireworks show! I was so excited to get to capture this romantic moment for these two!

Once the party got going, the dance floor was a blast!

The last thing before we left was the hilarious garter toss. Chris tossed it once, but the catcher got called out for being married! Ha! So he tossed it again, and it found its rightful owner. :)

Congratulations, Chris and Chrissy! I knew this day would be full of joy and love and an absolute delight, because working with you has been from day one! I wish the two of you a lifetime of happiness and can't wait to see your life together unfold! Thank you for having us there!
