Couples just don't get much more perfect for each other than Cierra and Brian! And rustic, classy weddings don't get much more perfect than this day!
Rocking J Ranch was a stunning venue, in a perfectly idyllic setting.
Those gorgeous red-orange sunflowers? Believe it or not, Cierra did all of those herself (with help from bridesmaid Laurie)! All of their sunflower floral arrangements were beautiful.
Beautiful bride, beautiful dress.
I'm seriously impressed by these florals!
Getting ready simultaneously, separated only by a floor.
The gentlemen weren't quite sure what to do with their boutonnieres! I have to admit, I don't really blame them!
The ceremony awaited . . . .
The ladies (and ring bearer) rode down from the Upper House in this vintage pickup.
Meanwhile, Brian blocked his view so as not to catch a glimpse of his bride too soon.
She was stunning.
Tears of joy.
You may kiss the bride!
Smiles and a happy dance, the perfect way to end a ceremony! Their recessional song of choice was "Keep Them Kisses Comin'" by Craig Campbell, because it was a Craig Campbell concert where they first met. <3
Super great group of people! You wouldn't know it, but I was rushing them along like a crazy lady as a storm threatened to roll in any second.
These two. What a beautiful couple!
I am absolutely loving her bridal portraits! Seriously, could she be a more stunning bride?!
Then the time came for the reception! What a fantastic overload of adorable, beautiful, sweet and rustic details! Top to bottom, this reception hall was perfection.
Shortly after being announced, these two went right to the first dance, where their eyes lit up brighter than the twinkling lights surrounding them.
And the speeches. Laughter, tears, and cheers all around.
After the oh-so-sweet parent dances, DJ Gordon announced the couple would take a few moments for "sunset" photos outside, which we had planned together. Sounds great on paper, but it turned out there were too many clouds for a clear sunset. We even kind of hoped it would rain, so we could capture a few romantic rain photos. But, no, the rain never did come. Looking back on this moment, though, the dramatic cloudy sky made for an amazing backdrop as well! I'm so happy with how it turned out, even if it wasn't according to plan, haha!
The comedic highlight of the bouquet and garter toss was Brian's fancy dance over to his blushing bride!
Shortly after, he took a moment to serenade Cierra to "Love is a Beatiful Thing" by Phil Vassar. (If you want to hear his talented vocals, too, you should check out brianbaxband.com!)
The night rounded out with lots of fun and dancing, and I think everyone there had a genuine good time, myself certainly included.
Thank you so much, Cierra and Brian! You've brought me along on such a fun journey as I got to get to know you and see this awesome wedding come together! You are two beautiful souls, inside and out, and you made me feel appreciated and like a friend the whole time. I am so glad I got to be part of this day when you promised each other the rest of your lives! Congratulations!! Here's to decades and decades of the two of you making beautiful things happen.
Special thanks to:
My amazing second shooter, Cash!
