Courtney and Cody met in college, when they happened to hang out with a group of friends together. She later received a text from an unknown number, who just so happened to be Cody. And the rest, as they say, is history! These two share a love that's sweet, down-to-earth, and rooted in God and family. And now, that love is official forever!

This day was beautiful in every way. Surrounded by warm and sunny days, this one just happened to be the one cloudy and chilly one. But you wouldn't have known it from the smiles on everyone's faces! And there are advantages to every type of weather, like the beautiful clouds in the sky and no glare in anyone's face during an afternoon outdoor ceremony. A little chill in the air just increased the desire for loved ones to draw close. Beautiful in every way.

Everything took place at the very charming Anheuser House in historic Kimmswick, Missouri. This estate is nestled right along the Mississippi, with a therapeutic horseback riding facility ongrounds, really completing the appeal with white wooden fences and rustic barns. The whole area exuded old-fashioned, historic charm. It was so fitting for Courtney and Cody's style!

Courtney's dress was oh-so lovely.

As were the bridesmaids' dresses that coordinated so well.

What a happy moment when the groom locks eyes wtih his bride for the first time on the wedding day.

The wind loved catching Courtney's veil! Thankfully the maid of honor/sister of the bride came to the rescue.

This part tugged at my heart strings a bit, because these two shared the same unity ceremony my husband and I shared at my wedding: God's Knot. It echos the sentiment of Ecclesiastes 4:12, "And if someone overpowers one person, two can resist him. A cord of three strands is not easily broken." Braiding these cords together represents the couple's commitment to keep God intertwined in their marriage, trusting in Him as their common pursuit that will keep their marriage strong.

You may kiss the bride!

One happy couple!

Loved the sassy cowboy boots!

Courtney was a classic, stunning beauty.

So many adorable, rustic details made the reception, and the whole day, so perfect.

After the sweet and funny toasts, then dinner, we snuck away for a few more shots with the bride and groom. I love that this is becoming a bit of a tradition for me this year! You can relax a little more, knowing these photos are just a few more for fun, and as the sun goes down, the change of light gives us a chance to add something unique to the photos from the day!

Courtney, you are beautiful!

The night finished out under strung lights on an outdoor dance floor, a perfect way to have a reception!

The guests were fantastic at letting loose and celebrating! It really made my job so much fun.
