So many years, they knew each other. He loved her all along. Through oceans of distance, and time, she realized she was in love with him too. Amid the challenges of the army, education, and off and on long distance, these two have endured, all the way to this incredible wedding day! This was the kind of day a younger me would have only dreamed about photographing! If I describe it only, it will come very short. So I will show it instead!
Courtyard by Marriott, right in my own town, was a stunning backdrop to begin the day.

The Catholic Mass ceremony was held at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish in St Charles.

The look of happiness on Dan's face is priceless.

As is the overwhelmingly proud look on her father's.

Husband and wife!!

After the ceremony, the ever-so-amazing Noboleis Vineyards hosted the reception.
We used this location and time for many, many photos, beginning with the beautiful bride!

Emily loved the idea of all the groomsmen holding her up, which is, of course, a classic pose! Then the ladies wanted to duplicate this with the groom, too . . . . .

Let's just say this was a bit more of a challenge!

But so worth it. :)

Dan was looking very dapper and sharp himself!

I loved this group! So much fun, every one of them.

Then we stole a few quiet moments for just the bride and groom.

The reception was held in an open-air tent, perfect for enjoying the beautiful vineyard view. The decor was on point, in stunning deep hues perfect for the fall.

We snuck out one more time to grab photos while the sunset was at its best.

The first dance as husband and wife is always one of the best moments of the entire day, to me.

Since Emily's father is wheelchair-bound, she came to him and stood by him for a song dedication. I don't believe there was a dry eye in the room.

I loved the energy and sheer fun of Dan's dance with his mom!

The rest of the reception was full of joy and dancing!

All told, there can be no arguing that this was a perfect day. Congratulations, Emily and Dan!! You deserved something so wonderful to start you off on the rest of your lives together! Thank you so much for allowing me to be there!!
