It's impossible not to love your job when you work with couples like this!! Kaitlin and Doug are so unbelievably perfect for each other, and the happiness they exude is extremely contagious. That combination will make for a wonderful, long married life together, I'm certain! And it definitely made for an amazing wedding day.

Doug completely lost composure waiting for then watching his bride come down the aisle. There were probably very few dry eyes in the room!

And she was a complete stunner.

Just look at these two grown men in tears with love for their beautiful girl! Kaitlin, you are loved.

 You may kiss the bride!

The party bus was a-rockin!! This group was quite possibly the most fun group I've had the pleasure to work with! Everyone was always so kind to me, even while going crazy and having fun!

St Louis Central Library was an ideal location for photos of these two.

And just look at that handsome groom!

And Kaitlin, of course, was a vision.

We had to take a little time for the two of them in front of the Arch. Doug went to incredibly romantic efforts to propose to her from inside the Arch (as in, creating a sign on the ground so big that she could read it from all the way at the top!), so this place will always have a special meaning for the two of them.

As I walked into their reception venue, my jaw dropped. All of the decor, and the general ambiance, was gorgeous. My wonderful second shooter, Cash, and I went a little trigger crazy!

 What a perfectly adorable cake-feeding :)

The welcome speech, blessing, and toasts were speeches that truly tugged at your heart strings and constantly made you laugh!

I didn't even know what was going on at some points, haha! But every antic was a hit with the room.

After the toasts, you'd think there would be a break from all the tears, but that's when a bridesmaid surprised the couple with a song in their honor!

Have I ever mentioned how much I love first dances? These moments are some of my favorites from an entire wedding day.

At this point, it became pretty obvious to me where Doug gets his infectious smile!

Then the party began! As you can imagine, this group was not shy of the dance floor!

Bouquet and garter toss finished out my evening. Now, these started out pretty normal. Kaitlin tossed the bouquet to a group of eager single ladies!

Doug went to retrieve the garter . . . .

. . . but somehow yielded a bottle of water . . .

 . . . a light saber, of course . . .

. . .  and it just kept going and going, haha!

But he did eventually find the actual garter!

Seriously, what an amazing day!! Thank you so much, Kaitlin and Doug for allowing me to document this for you! I'm so excited for the two of you to begin your wonderful, fun life together! Congratulations!!!
