Beautiful colors, endless smiles, adorable kids, and so much love. Lauren and Kevin are such an obviously-in-love couple that have been a joy to work with! Their wedding day was absolutely no exception. We did have a very rainy day, but, as we all know, that only means good luck! It also means some beautiful, dramatic night photos at the end of the day! You'll have to take a look at those below. :)
I loved Lauren's beautiful navy and yellow palette. It makes for a classic, yet vibrant look.
I also love that these two opted for a first look! First looks really allow the bride and groom to spend more time soaking in the experience of the first time they see each other on their wedding day. It was a sweet and meaningful moment.
Lauren, you truly made a gorgeous bride.
And I can't leave alone how dapper Kevin looked! Just look at that guy!
This little guy was a most adorable on-looker while we took a few bride and groom photos! My wonderful second shooter, Sherry, grabbed this shot.
Preparing for the ceremony . . . .
The Sheldon Concert Hall made for such a beautiful but also unique ceremony venue.
Introducing Mr. and Mrs. Kastner!!
The soft yellow wedding cake looked very elegant (and tasted amazing, I might add)! All of the reception details were very charming, including Stormy, who made appearances at just about every portion of the day.
This venue was amazing for a reception. Look at all the natural light that came in at the beginning, too!
Lauren and Kevin were adorable cake-feeders. :) I've read one blogger theorize that how you feed each other cake can actually predict how well your marriage will go, haha! These two were respectful and playful, a perfect formula!
We snuck away at this point in the evening to steal shots with the beautiful sky! I call this proof of how lucky rain really is. Something that leaves such beauty in its wake must be a good omen.
We came back in just in time for one of my favorite parts of a wedding day . . . the first dance between husband and wife.
The parent dances were also a beautiful moment. I loved the tears Kevin's mom had just from the joy of standing up to dance with her newly-married son.
After all had passed, the party could begin! This group knew how to let loose and have fun on the dance floor!
We did have to sneak out to the rooftop one more time, just for a special request of the groom. Those are some pretty bad-to-the-bone gentlemen!
Lauren and Kevin, thank you so much for trusting us with your wedding day images! You and yours have been very gracious to work with, and I'm so happy for the two of you. Congratulations on your new life together!!
