Everyone knows rain is good luck on a wedding day, but until you've been hanging out in the drizzle, witnessing the exchange of vows under umbrellas, surrounded by loved ones in a beautiful setting, it's hard to realize just how romantic it can be, too.
Everyone gathered around the ruins at Tower Grove Park as the pieces of the ceremony came together.
Kelsey's entrance through the umbrella tunnel made every heart skip a beat.
Especially one in particular ;)
You may kiss the bride!
To get dry, we headed to .Zack right after the ceremony, where we grabbed portraits and prepared for the reception. Are these two not a stunning couple?!
Once at the reception hall, Zach and Kelsey pulled me aside to show me nothing other than . . . the bathroom! I was quite surprised to see a giant penthouse suite of a bathroom, complete with a gorgeous city view . . .
. . . and a giant soaking tub! Of course, they had to have a few pictures in it. I mean, who wouldn't want pictures in a bathtub at their reception?! Logical or not, they were adorable in it!
The elegant, love-filled reception filled the remainder of the evening.
Zach and Kesley's friends and family were an awesome, warm, and welcoming group!
Zach and Kelsey, thank you!!! This day was amazing, so perfectly laid-back but beautiful and thought-out, just like the relationship the two of you have together! It's been so fun working with you every step of the way, and your magical day was the cherry on top! Thank you for having us be a part of it, and congratulations on the beginning of the rest of your lives together!
