Ahhh, Abby and Jeff. Such a beautiful couple and a beautiful day for ending the fall shooting season! To say I was honored when my friend and fellow photographer, Lisa Scherer, reached out to me to photograph her daughter’s wedding is an understatement. Lisa is simply a wonderful person, and I knew her family would be too. They could not have picked a more gorgeous location than Baetje Farms, and we could not have been blessed with better weather, fall color, and kindness of atmosphere. Abby and Jeff, the two of you are a pure delight, both to meet and to see together! Thank you for having me with you on this momentous day. Congratulations!!

My wonderful, amazing, beautiful clients are to thank for this, because your reviews have made this possible! Thank you so much for appreciating me! I truly, truly appreciate you, too! You have been an overwhelming blessing to work with. It is such an honor!! Here’s to an amazing 2021 wedding season!
What a fantastic way to end the year! This was one of the first cool, full of color, truly *fall* days we had this year, and it began at the beautiful home of Ashley’s parents, surrounded by them and her bridesmaids. As you’ll see in the photos, Ashley took a minute to present gifts to her mom and dad, and I loved capturing that beautiful moment. The ladies also looked adorable toasting in their matching robes. :) As Ashley walked down the aisle, one photo was not enough to show Brendan’s reaction. He went straight from solemn, to smiling, to tearing up in a matter of seconds, and I just had to show all of that. Ashley was gasp-worthy to see walking down the aisle with her dad, who gave Brendan a little talk as he handed her off. After the ceremony, we enjoyed the beautiful foliage in Lafayette Park, and I had a blast working with this bridal party! They were the sweetest but also so, so much fun! My favorite photos of our time at the park are the last ones, where Ashely and Brendan posed in the foreground of the beautiful bridge. I feel like we are in an ethereal fairy forest! The reception was decked out in rich gold tones and felt warm, inviting, and luxurious all at once. We had a wonderful end to the night with amazing food by Orlando’s and the beautiful sounds of The Phoenix Band.
Ashley and Brendan, the two of you are a dream! I have had so much fun and felt so appreciated working with you, and your family and friends were just as amazing to spend the day with too! Congratulations on the beginning of a beautiful life together!! Your love for each other and God is inspiring; I was so honored to be a part of this day! Thank you!
